Babik

The inspiration for our Global Hit is the legendary Jazz guitarist, D’jango Reinhardt this time. The Belgian-born Roma or Gypsy created a distinctive musical style known as Gypsy Jazz. Django Reinhardt has many musicial descendants and four of them live in Buffalo, New York.

You seem to have discovered a group that is as at ease with its medium as a fish in water. The band members sound down to earth, with no big egos in the way; a kind of user-friendly band that you’d want to listen to while doing just about anything around the house or garden. I’m amazed at how you find these great folks out there who are sort of like the cream rising to the top of the milk bottle. Nice presentation. Great music. Thanks

Thank you for uncovering for “The World” one of Buffalo’s gems. This band plays music that brings people together and makes us happy. If you can’t get to see Babik live (the BEST way to experience their music) pick up a CD and start tappin’ your feet. Excellent segment.
    Peace through music.

Thanks Sabe! We would love to play the Catskills. I wouldn’t be surprised if we book some dates in that region soon. You can check the calendar on our website to keep in touch with where we are performing.

      Thanks for listening!

Thank you “The World” for sharing the story of Babik! I truly enjoy their music and so do my 2 and 4yrs old daughters.

It’s a shame that I haven’t seen Babik in live!
I really hope they can come to Japan and make many Japanese people dance with your great fun music!
