All animal-lovers owe Alexandra Cardenas and Animal Defenders International a huge thank you for getting the Bolivian authorities to ban the use of both wild and domestic animals in circuses. This type of legislation is millenniums overdue. As per usual with the capitalist media, Katy Clark did her damndest to defend animal abuse and exploitation but Cardenas made mincemeat out of her idiotic arguments. Furthermore, if she had been given more time, it is certain that she would had added that circus animals also are regularly beaten and drugged and some of them even have their teeth and claws removed as well.
