Is the tango at the end of the report on Aurelia’s oratorio related to the play or just a fill in? What tango is it? Thanks.

That tango is indeed part of the show. I’m not quite sure of the name.

The song is “Mano Brava,” in a recording by Anibal Troilo from the early 1940s, with vocal by Francisco Fiorentino. It’s actually an example of a milonga, an uptempo cousin of tango which is typically written in 2/4. Together, the three branches of greater “tango music” — tango, milonga, and vals (in 3/4) — create the soundscape enjoyed by dancers worldwide.
