Liberian SoldiersHillary Clinton is in the Democratic Republic of Congo today. The Secretary of State urged Congolese students to speak out against corruption and conflict. Tomorrow, she’s expected to raise issues of sexual violence with President Joseph Kabila. Later this week, Clinton will visit another African country that has suffered an epidemic of sexual assaults, often by government soldiers, in recent years. That country is Liberia. The United States is getting out of Iraq. Washington and Baghdad have agreed that all U-S forces should leave the country by the end of 2011.
