It began when his friend … the rapper and producer ‘Gnotes’ — real name Sean Dwyer — arrived in Granada. Together they built a recording studio there. Canyon Cody and Gnotes wanted to take traditional flamenco sounds and combine them with hip hop.
The result is their new album, ‘Granada Doaba.’ Canyon Cody and Gnotes dropped by recently to talk about their project.
Gnotes told me their studio was located in an appropriate spot.
