Bill Wyman ‘not keen’ on Rock Band-style games

wyman1Former Rolling Stones guitarist, Bill Wyman (pictured), has told the BBC in an interview that he’s not thrilled about computer games that allow you to play along with your favorite bands. “It encourages kids not to learn, that’s the trouble,” Wyman told BBC News. “It makes less and less people dedicated to really get down and learn an instrument.” Wyman’s concerns were seconded by Nick Mason of Pink Floyd. Their comments came as the globe geared up for the release of ‘The Beatles: Rock Band,’ a game that allows you to play along with John, Paul, George and Ringo.
