		<description>Thanks for the interview with Peter Mass, it made me realize Americans should look in their own back yard to see the effects of Oil Development, Alaska.  The villages nearest where the oil is produced in Alaska pay the highest fuel costs in the United States.  They have very high poverty and endure much suffering and they do not benefit from all the oil that is produced and taken from the earth in their back yard.  I hope in the book, Mr. Maass looked at Alaska, as what he described in Nigeria is the same in Alaska, USA!

Thanks for the interview and hopefully it will make people begin to wonder if the oil is worth the price of suffering it inflicts.
