Veteran Italian television host Mike Bongiorno has died at the age of 85. Bongiorno was born in the United States, but made a name for himself in Italy starting in the 1950s. He hosted a series of television game shows, many of them knock-offs of U.S. programs, and he became known as “The Quiz King.” The World’s William Troop has a remembrance of Mike Bongiorno.
