It’s a great show this week, folks. Elsa Youngsteadt from Sigma Xi checks in with a couple of great science stories, including one about a fake moon rock that got outed by some Dutch geologists. Then, we’ll hear about a new study that looks at recent temperature changes in the Arctic. Also on this week’s show, you’ll hear about attempts to stem over-fishing in Senegal, and about attempts to regrow mangroves in Indonesia. We’ll end with two interviews. The first is with a scientist who is studying the rebirth of Kasatochi Island in the Aleutians. The second is with a scientist who is, well, studying a giant garbage patch in the Pacific.
