Is Vladimir Putin rewriting history, -you asked. You Mr. Werman, you must tell first what you think happened, and where Putin’s word contradict what you know. I think it is unavoidable that you have to come up and tell your side of the story. If you don’t do so…. I have to assume that you are only a gossip and nothing else. And this is only about your question. You also must answer a bigger question when you focus your attention on WWII, a huge historical event’s anniversary. To be able to frame your work correctly you must be able to hold in your head a few contradiction, and you have to tell these up front.
One of these contradiction is Stalin, and his role. Let’s just assume the Stalin was an absolute idiot. Unless you prove that you have the capacity to win that war with less pain to the population of the worlds biggest country you are spreading only demagogy and let the listeners believe that your mental capacity even lesser than Stalins same capacity.
You must earn your credentials or you can stay a gossip or a demagog.
Of course Putin not a white knight either, but it seems to me that he knows his role better than you know yours. Time to learn WWII after 70 years. Just a bit of help, it was not Reagen who won it single handedly. But you know that, you just forget to drop that style.
Let give a piece of mine on the end : Give up dreaming about Superman and the Terminator, the aren’t real. They do not even seems real for anyone outside of the US. So this advice may will help you in your job, to create programs that can be interesting for those who do not believe in tooth ferry, snow white and so on….the real life is more interesting.
