it’s upsetting to hear about proposed “legal” hunting/ killing of lions (and no doubt other wildlife) in Kenya-too many humans consuming so much land-to grow inefficient meat-throughout the world to the detriment of non-human animals and environment and, since this seems to be all that matters to so many people, ultimately humans too.

During the October 9th program an East Indian sounding piece was played as part of your break music. Is there any way I can find out the name of the musician and song? It was wonderful as is your program. Thank You!

      Harold —

You can always find a list of all the music we play, every day, here: http://www.theworld.org/music-heard-on-air/. Unfortunately, there is no music listed for October 9th. Hopefully we’ll have that up soon.
