The Moroccan city of Fez might seem an unlikely place for an international jazz festival.

But this weekend it hosted one…. the Jazz in Riad festival.

Riad refers to traditional Moroccan palaces with enclosed gardens.

That’s where most of the concerts took place though as Daniel Brown reports, the music spilled out onto the streets as well.
