For today’s Geo Quiz we’re gliding on a Dutch canal. We’re looking for the name of the longest of Amsterdam’s canals.

This canal cuts right through the center of the city. And it has a regal name.

If you take a stroll around there, you will find a couple of centuries-old churches, the North church and the West church. But perhaps the better known landmark overlooking this canal is the Ann Frank House.

That’s the house where young Ann Frank, hiding from the Nazis with her family, wrote her famous diary.

So what is the name of this Amsterdam canal?

One of the city’s most famous landmarks, the Anne Frank House, looks out on the Prinsengracht. Visitors come from all over to see the attic where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazis during World War Two.
