11/27 In response to the listener who criticized The World's music selections, I respectfully disagree: it's wonderful to hear about the rich and diverse musical cultures across the world. Keep bringing us more please!

PS And may I place a request for selection from China, both contemporary and the traditional music of its many ethnic cultures?

More too big to fail.

There was a hubris and disconnect from reality involved in the construction of this Las Vegas in the Middle Eastern desert that was as big as the fatuous and obese projects that comprise this fiasco.

Just because this stuff can be imagined and drawn on a piece of paper doesn't mean they should be built. This is all about irresponsibly wealthy humans seeing minor gods when they look in the mirror. They should be allowed to collapse along with their wasteful and ill conceived boondoggles.
