Patriot missiles figure in today’s Geo Quiz. A battery of the American missiles has arrived in the town we’re looking for today.
The town is in north-eastern Poland. It’s just 35 miles from Kaliningrad in Russia. The Russians aren’t especially pleased about having a US military installation so close to their border.
Still, the missiles are now there. So are dozens of American soldiers. They’ll rotate in and out of the base for the next two years…to train their Polish counterparts.
Once again, we’re looking for the Polish town that’s now hosting Patriot missiles and US forces.
