President Obama is set to host an important visitor at the White House tomorrow. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with Mister Obama at a delicate moment in US-Israeli ties. But first, Israel must tend to troubled relations with another of its friends. Turkey was once Israel’s closest Muslim ally. Now, the Turks are demanding that Israel apologize for its raid in May on aid ships bound for Gaza. Otherwise, the Turks warn they’ll cut all diplomatic ties Israel.
