Marco Werman's interview on 3/29 with the Iranian musician was representative of how media personalities propagate misinformation. In Werman's description of the threat of war between the U.S./ Israel and Iran, he asked the musician what were his thoughts about the "saber rattling" of Iran. Werman, you intentionally misled the audience; it is Israel that is doing the "saber rattling;" it is Israel that has threatened attacking Iran. Why else would Pres. Obama caution against threats of war and ask for "cool heads" by the Israeli government and some of the Republican candidates? Werman, you're in a position to influence the public. As such, influence the public with truth, not by misleading the public with misinformation!

That seems nitpicky Will so I think the counter nitpicks are deserved.

1) A quick google search for "deserted island jukebox" will result in more responses actually for the text "desert island jukebox." As a meme in music navel-gazing, the proper term is desert island.

2) Deserts on islands do exist. The Gulf of Yemen has a few, Socotra Island is an example.

3) Islands in deserts exist as well. Any oasis would be an example.

Marco, GREAT piece. Too often music roundups reveal little new. You exposed me to several wholly new albums. Thank you.

Marco, Marco, MARCO!
IT is too hot to make music.
But, it is too wrong to say you would take y o u r choices to a desert island. Like those who can not differentiate between Calvary and Cavalry... you should be going to a DESERTED Island. Deserts don't have islands. Nor do they have Desserts.
