The Roman Coliseum will open areas long closed to visitors beginning in the fall of 2010. The World’s Nancy Greenleese had a sneak preview.

My partner was slightly peeved that I insisted on carrying my travel book everywhere we went, so I thought it would be appropriate to hold up the image of the Coliseum while posing in front of it. Hilary Pecis, San Francisco
Students from an elementary school in Las Vegas, NV annually send 'Flat Stanley' all over the world to have adventures. When he returns, he is hung on the bulleltin board for all the students to see the places he has been. Giovanni Svevo, my son-in-law, created this gladiator outfit for 'Flat Stanley' and he and my daughter took him on a short walk from their home to the Coliseum for a photo op. -Lori Perry Las Vegas, NV
