Screaming fans greeted the popstar Madonna last night as she launched her first Hard Candy Fitness gym. It’s located in an upscale neighborhood called “Bosques de las Lomas” in the city we’re looking for in the Geo Quiz.

Madonna says she likes the energy of the people in this city and there’s a lot of it. This is a mega city, with a population of at least 9 million. Although it’s more like 20 million for the entire metropolitan area. The Material Girl also says she’s wowed by the city’s culture, food and art.

And she says, she’s not worried about drug-related crime there.

Madonna: “A lot of places I got to are considered dangerous whether that’s Tel Aviv or Rio, but that never stops me from going there and putting on a show. I have good security, so I’m not hindered by that. I have good security and I’m not worried about it”.

So where did Madonna launch her Fitness gym, where a membership will set you back 2,000 pesos ($ 160) a month?

    I think it is great that she has such a wide range of fans all over the country. Also, the fact that she isn’t going to let the crime rate affect what she does or where she goes. I think that she is optimistic in the sense that people allow themselves to be limited because of the knowledge they now have about the dangers of the world. Although even before we were aware, we would be more open about our life. Madonna is one of those people who does what she wants, and its great that she has opened up a gym in Mexico.
