If they are becoming popular in Warsaw, aren't they worth knowing about? Polish youths are excited to hear their peers making the music that they have been importing from other countries (not just the US) for over a decade now. This phenomenon deserves our consideration whether we agree with it or not.

What a fantastic show this was to listen to, I was smiling while driving the whole time. Such hopeful songs, simple and full of joy. Now the big mystery...where does someone find their music to buy! =)

Thanks for another great day of TheWorld.

The you for doing a story on music from Poland. It's seems that almost all NPR producers are stuck in either India or Africa. It's a big world out there, and it's nice to hear from all parts of it.

Honestly? Is this the best you can do for material? You can introduce your listeners to wonderful music from all around the globe. But instead, you give us a tired (very American pop) sound, and in order to sell it, contrast it with the much more interesting "trained and polished" voices to which Polish listeners are accustomed. It is simply not appropriate for your staff to do stories about their friends nor to visit the McDonald's in Tokyo and tell us all about it. Surely you can do better.
