China and India continually need more coal. At this record coal mining and highest record coal usages in both countries is still not enough to meet each of the country’s needs.

Coal use is increasing due to further urbanization, supported by new construction starts. China needs steel, India needs cement, and Asia’s major cities need coal to fuel their power supply.

There is an estimated 1.6 billion tpa of coal currently supplied to Asia’s smaller Industrial Boiler market, with more than 2 million small boilers scattered across Asia.

India and China, the two fastest growing coal-consuming countries must do all they can to save on precious coal. Coal is their most abundant but challenged fuel resource.
