According to a new WWF report, seventy percent of commercial marine fisheries are on the decline. Rashid Sumaila directs the Fisheries Center the the University of British Columbia. Danish and Czech scientists are working to solve a centuries-old mystery involving 16th century astronomer Tycho Brahe. The mystery is about his death: one legend suggests Brahe died after his bladder burst during a banquet but some historians believe the astronomer was intentionally poisoned. Germany is increasing security at airports and railway stations in light of “concrete indications” of terrorist attacks being planned for the end of November. Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said it followed a tip-off from another, unnamed country. Germany had information on “sustained efforts” by Islamist extremists to carry out attacks, he said.
