Former President George W. Bush is causing a stir in Britain with his new memoir. The book, “Decision Points” is out today. In an interview with a British newspaper Bush defended the use of water-boarding as a legal interrogation technique that saved lives both in the US and the UK. President Obama spent the last day of his visit to India in the capital Delhi. It was a very busy schedule of bilateral talks and the highlight of the visit was a strong speech to a joint session of the Indian parliament. US Military scaling back on outside contractors

The US military budget has more than doubled since the 9/11 attacks. Now Defense Secretary Robert Gates says the military needs to be smarter about how its spending.
