Brazilian Samba drumming has spread to China.

A Chinese rock drummer got hooked after taking lessons given by a San Francisco-based teacher in Beijing.

Now, he is giving lessons.

The World’s Mary Kay Magistad checked out the class herself.

The host introduced this segment by saying that the Samba had a “touch of Africa”. Please. Brazilian culture, including the Samba, has an African foundation, not just a touch.
