The two wineries that operate in this country do not have the expertise nor the market to sell the wines they produce. Last year the problem was that they were unable to collect all the grape that was harvested, because the reservoirs were full!! This year even the yield was not the best. The potential is great, the climate is perfect, the soil, too, all that is needed in such a situation is a serious investor to produce top quality wine.  Kosovo needs foreign investment in winery.
