Zambia’s new president Michael Sata has vowed to clean up corruption and help the poor benefit from the country’s recent economic good fortune.

Most of the economic growth has come from China which has poured billions of dollars into Zambia. Five years ago when Sata first ran for office, he promised to chase the Chinese out of the country but that has all changed.

Host Marco Werman talks with The World’s Mary Kay Magistad who is in the Zambian capital of Lusaka.
