The Dead Sea does not separate Israel from Jordan. It separates the Palestinian Territory from Jordan, which is entirely different. And your counterfactual assertion, which could not have been by accident, is no run-of-the mill geography error. Rather, it is politically significant as it implicitly endorses Israel's designs on Palestine, which are recognized as illegal everywhere in the world except in Israel itself and, evidently, at PRI's "The World".
