What is worse, PR China denies citizens access to Dali Lama, or denies citizens access to the Pope? Or say it another way, which religious leader is more important to their religion, the Pope to Catholicism or the Dali Lama to Tibetan Buddhism?
BTW I am agnostic, I only believe that both situations are deplorable. I want to hear more about Chinese Catholics, as well as Daoists, Christians, Muslims, Confucianists or Chinese local “folklore” that combines all of the above mentioned.
Is this story expressing religious repression in China, or is this story repressing religious representation of China?
Enlighten me.

I am ever so grateful for this article. We Tibetans will gladly forgive the Chinese People and we never blame the ordinary Chinese for what the Chinese Communist China did and continuesly doing to Tibet.
I hope and pray that the Tibetan Buddhism will give peace and love to all the Chinese people.
