For the Geo Quiz we are looking for an East Malaysian city along the north-east coast of Borneo.

It is a popular starting point for eco-tourists going on excursions into the rainforest or to the Gomantong caves.

Another tourist attraction is a nearby orangutan rehabilitation center where you can see about 75 orangutans that have been rescued from logging sites or from poachers.

Sandakan is the answer to the Geo Quiz.

The Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre is located near Sandakan in Malaysia.

This is where Marina Davila-Ross, lecturer at the University of Portsmouth, has been studying orangutans.

Anchor Marco Werman talks to Dr. Davila-Ross about her research.

I was once in borneo with my friends to see orangutans. It was awesome experience to ‘meet’ these orangutans in person and see them in their original habitat.
