For the Geo Quiz we are looking for a township just outside of Cape Town.

During Apartheid, black Africans couldn’t live in Cape Town and were relegated to areas like this township.

The residents of this township speak Xhosa. Xhosa is spoken in several parts of South Africa and clicks are a special feature of this native language.

The name of the township in Xhosa means “Our Pride.”

The Gugulethu Tenors

The answer to the Geo Quiz is Gugulethu.

It is a place where kids grow up listening to hip-hop or house music.

But Anders Kelto found four young men called “The Gugulethu Tenors” who took a different path and have become South Africa’s newest musical sensations.

Ditto the above. I emailed the Tenors from their website and was directed to a site to order their CD, which was very reasonable, about $16 U.S, but the shipping was prohibitive, so will try itunes. Awesome story.
