Atahualpa Yupanqui is one of the most influential folk singers in Argentina.
He died in 1992, but his music lives on in a new album by Gerard Edery.
It is a tribute album in which Edery performs some of his favorite tunes written by the late Argentine musician.
Edery himself is a well-known classical guitar player, as well as a folk singer and master of Jewish Sephardic music.
The tribute album is titled “Edery Sings Yupanqui.”
