While the story is interesting, using the discredited Hoekstra campaign ad is gratuitous at best, completely unnecessary, and offensive in general. It seems like this story is in part purposed to give Hoekstra another free bite at his poisonous apple. Listeners want an informative story and not one covertly used to boost demeaning political ads that are tangential, mean spirited, and dishonest.
