Ah, now…. you can’t talk about President Abdoulaye Wade and not mention his overwrought (figurative AND literal) monument to himself on the outskirts of Dakar.

The statue he named ”African Renaissance” is his attempt at immortality, regardless of anything Occupy may accomplish.

Abdoulaye wade has been disastrous for Senegal, aside from embezzling billions, his Son Karim two corporate jets and Boeing 737, a collection of mansions throughout Europe wile leveraging. Wade’s ego is worth mentioning in a country known for gentleness.

His attempt to hand over power to his unqualified son has been the impetus of this chaos in Dakar, he continue to entrench idiotic and anti business agenda while corroding Senegal’s constitution.  To sum up, wade has done zero for his country despite having received billions from the US, most of which stolen.  He should honorably pass on the baton to a younger, savvier, and committed group of public servants.
