Austrian musical duo Attewenger mixes fast-paced accordion with dance-friendly (and a little bit crazed) beats.

The World’s Alex Gallafent met the band in New York recently and spoke with them about swamps, funk, and how their music is a bit like the mythical American road trip.

“We can get off the highway and drive. But we have our own language, our material, our experiences in the car. And this vehicle is moving, it’s always moving.”
