Among the Liberian VP’s high school teachers – a US Peace Corps volunteer!
A group of us former Liberia Peace Corps volunteers ret’d to LIberia for 3 weeks in 2009 to do some service projects
The VP came to one of our get togethers and met up with his former Peace Corps teacher. It was priceless.
Despite 14 years of civil war…there were some good things to be seen in Liberia as the proliferation of pumps at wells.
If you go to Liberia, be sure to stay at least overnight at Robertsport, beautiful inland lake with crystal clear water.
