A day after international envoy Kofi Annan warned that Syria could slide into a civil war, there was more trouble in the country.
Syrian rebels are reported to have killed seven pro-government militiamen in a Damascus suburb.
And the head of the UN military observer mission got an up-close taste of the violence Wednesday when a bomb exploded near his convoy.
