Edmar Castaneda is a virtuoso harpist from Bogota, Colombia.

He lives in New York City where he has made a name for himself in jazz circles, playing “el arpa llanera” a folk harp from the plains of Colombia and Venezuela.

Castaneda has a new album out called “Double Portion,” which is a collaboration with jazz musicians such as Miguel Zenon, Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Hamilton de Holanda.

Anchor Marco Werman spoke to Castaneda as he stopped by our studios.
