YES Academy Teaching Performing Arts in Iraqi Kurdistan

Performing arts students from across Iraq are gathered for a two week summer camp run by Americans at Duhok University in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Anchor Lisa Mullins speaks with Iraqi violin student Alan Abdulrazaq Rasheed and American cello instructor Bruce Walker from Washington State who are preparing for the final performances at the YES Academy.

    i have something for yes Academy in kurdistan about Calassic music every year this is repeat this in the final  day at the concert we are at the final program i said Why ?? all peaple see Jazz and Hip Hoop and kids and pianist players after this no one stay at the Hall and we are so mad about this becouse we make the stage we need so much time and we lost time a lot the peaple cant stay this true and we don’t like this …… and i say for yes academy please please we wan’t play first at the concert
