We remember celebrated Magnum photographer Martine Franck who passed away last week in Paris at the age of 74.

The Belgian-born Franck was married to renowned photographer and Magnum co-founder Henri Cartier-Bresson, who died in 2004.

Even though Cartier-Bresson was a revered figure in the world of photography, Franck did not work in his shadow.

She traveled the world and became a photographer in her own right, capturing stunning landscapes, and inviting portraits.

Magnum photographer Susan Meiselas tells anchor Marco Werman Franck had a great sense of the value of the work she was doing.
