His history includes dropping out of university, being charged with drunk driving and possession of marijuana in Florida (1999), being ejected from a hockey game for yelling racial slurs (2006) and now he leaves his office daily to coach football. He has been very vocal in criticizing programs for youth at risk, calling them 'Hugs for Thugs', yet he boasts about his football coaching as keeping kids out of trouble. Huge Contradiction! He has become an international embarassment and even lied while in court recently, when he claimed that city resources are no longer used with the football programs he is involved in... Yet the summer football team he coaches lists the city paid for cellphone of one of his city hall office staff members as the contact for the team. It saddens me to see someone like this put all the progress that Toronto had been making to a grinding halt.
