If you are stupid enough to use religion as a voting criteria, here are your choices: a guy who committed to one religion and has been living it; or a guy who went to muslim schools, sat in Reverend Wright's Marxist church for 20 years and then dumped both traditions when it was politically expedient. All religions have weird stuff (world floods, parting of seas, dead humans

However, mid-way through the story I heard the line "(Luz Robles) was also born as a Mormon in Mexico." It seemed odd to say she was BORN a Mormon instead of raised a Mormon. I contend that people aren't born unto a religion as much as raised in a particular religious environment. Perhaps I'm just being over-critical of the wording, but I thought I would point it out because I stopped focusing on the story after I heard that line. Again, Monica, it's probably just semantics.
