All religions have weird stuff (world floods, parting of seas, dead humans
with wings, talking fiery bushes, talking donkeys). Who cares?

If you are stupid enough to use religion as a voting criteria, here are your
choices: a guy who committed to one
religion and has been living it; or a
guy who went to muslim schools, sat in
Reverend Wright's Marxist church for 20 years and then dumped both
traditions when it was politically expedient.

I just heard this story on MPR and thought it was a fascinating piece. However, mid-way through the story I heard the line "(Luz Robles) was also born as a Mormon in Mexico." It seemed odd to say she was BORN a Mormon instead of raised a Mormon. I contend that people aren't born unto a religion as much as raised in a particular religious environment. Perhaps I'm just being over-critical of the wording, but I thought I would point it out because I stopped focusing on the story after I heard that line. Again, Monica, it's probably just semantics. Thanks for a intersting story and continued success.

Mitt Romney’s Magic Mormon Underwear protects him from the evils of the world including socialism, illegal immigrants, homosexuals and taxes on his wealth. Can these sacred garments also make it rain down enough cash for a victory in this race since well over 90% of public offices are bought in our country by Big Money? Drop by to discuss these mysterious tighty whities and the role of money in politics at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2012/05/mitt-romneys-magic-mormon-underwear.html
