The Canadian band Rush is among the 2013 nominees for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Die-hard Rush fans will no doubt discuss the nomination at the Rush Convention taking place this weekend in Toronto.

Beverly Wintjes will be at the convention. She’s also known as Rush-Girl.

And she believes if the band gets inducted it will be long over due.

    If they don’t get in, it won’t matter to the band or the fans..They see the RRHOF for what ot is: a popularity contest for the masses.
