		<description>Kudos for including this segment, and particularly to the editor for the last sentence--indeed, we do all depend on the environment, don&#039;t we? Mr. Werman, however, seemed a bit amused by the conversation, chuckling when he might have been quite serious in asking which species are going extinct; and Mr. Gregory politely followed suit, telling the story of how he began birding at age 4 &quot;and that&#039;s a bit odd, really, I suppose, isn&#039;t it?&quot; Thank heavens for the odd ones.</description>
