Anchor Marco Werman speaks with Palestinian law student Nour Kharma, who’s staying with her grandmother in Gaza City.

She says she’s stuck at home, in constant fear.

it’s interesting that this  courageous and  intelligent young woman is so openly talking about her and her families fear of dying at any second, and if she survives she hopes to make a difference for her people in the gaza strip such as attaining other basic human rights. contrastingly, in Israel, a report was composed of making sure no famous art work was damaged and whether or not Israelis should be empathetic to women and children dying in Gaza. what is wrong with this picture?????

The reports from Gaza and Israel were so biased. In Gaza, you talk to a very articulate young civilian. In Israel, you talk to a dispassionate reporter who focuses not on areas of Israel that have been heavily bombarded but on an art museum. This was not a balanced presentation at all.

This girl is my daughter. I felt so sorry not to be around her and my other children during that terrible time but hearing her raising the voice of youth made me so proud. I am here in Darfur, trying to help other people who have other kinds of sufferings and now I know I raised a girl who will work not only towards the welfare of her people but also of others all over the world
