The situation in Mali is very serious,and I spoke to someone today that helps organize
the Festival in the Desert which takes place in northern Mali every yearwho was there in September....and the Festival has been moved to southern Maili, and Burkina Fasso...
He told me that muslim fundamentalists are disrupting live music even in Bamako,
and things are ugly there right now...
we are trying to organize a benefit for Mali in New Orleans in late April....
