Brazil’s Ana Gazzola sings from The Bee Gees song catalogue on her latest CD “Musicas e palavras Dos Bee Gees.”

This is the music she grew up listening to.

And although she and other Brazilians didn’t know what the songs were about, Gazzola says there was a “special feeling” she got from the music.

Now by translating The Bee Gees songs into Portuguese, Gazzola says Brazilians can understand the lyrics.
All the songs she chose for the album, she says “are the romantic ones.”

Wow. It’s nice when a cover lives up to the original; it’s even better when  the differences compliment each other. Really good stuff.

Ana never stops to amaze me with her talent, after befriending her and frequently seeing her perform I fell in love with her voice and the Brazilian romanticism that is her music. Ana I wish you continued success, I am extremely proud to know you and be a fan of your work. I miss the old Porto Alegre nights. Best, Mynor Guzman.
