The Chinese already face pretty tight controls on their internet use. Now, its getting worse.

China has tightened its rules on internet usage, enforcing a rule that requires users to fully identify themselves to service providers. Critics say the move will limit freedom of speech. The Chinese government says the changes will protect personal information.

Either way, the new policies won’t just impact individual Chinese Internet users. They could also impact American businesses that do business in China.

The World’s Lisa Mullins spoke with Evan Saunders, CEO of “Attract China,” an online marketing firm that helps businesses in America reach out to Chinese tourists.
