Beastie Boy Adam Yauch died back in May at the age of 47 from cancer.
In addition to music, Yauch was involved in the Free Tibet Movement.
Erin Potts worked closely with Adam Yauch on many projects focused on Tibet, including the Free Tibet benefit concerts.
Potts is the director of Air Traffic Control, a consultancy group that supports artists in their work promoting social justice issues.
“I laughed as hard as I worked,” Potts says remembering Adam Yauch’s humor. “I think never before in the history of the world has so much fun been had while doing activism and movement building and trying to fight injustice.”
