There was a deadly fire Wednesday in Nigeria’s biggest city, Lagos.

The blaze, which began with an explosion at a fireworks warehouse, has so far killed at least one person and injured 30 others.

    Although importation of firecrackers had been banned many years ago, yet fireworks are displayed every Xmas and New Year in Nigeria. Laws and Regulations are made but glaringly disobeyed with the connivance of the law enforcement agencies,
