In spite of it's stunning shimmering gold colors with royal blue flecks, this is a rather common species of sea slug. (Photo courtesy of S. Kahlbrock)
For the Geo Quiz, we are on a hunt for sea slugs.
These aren’t the garden variety slugs in dull shades of beige, but are all done up in bright greens, yellows and shimmering golds with flecks of electric blue.
We are looking for the name of the biblical body of water that stretches between northern Africa and the Arabian peninsula where you can find these slugs.
Red Sea is the answer to the Geo Quiz.
Anchor Marco Werman talks to scientist Nathalie Yonow, who studies Red Sea slugs at Swansea University in Wales.
